Aaron Paul From Breaking Bad Reunites With ‘Peekaboo’ Boy Actors Thirteen Years Later
Fans of the show are enthralled by the footage from a recent Breaking Bad reunion that took place in a Costco. Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, stars of the television series Breaking Bad, have recently visited Costco shops and liquor stores to interact with customers and promote their mezcal company, Dos Hombres. Former child actors and Breaking Bad alumni Dylan and Brandon Carr approached Paul to say hello at one of these stops, and the unexpected reunion was caught on camera. You may view the video of the meeting, which took place on July 30, 2022, below.
Paul is initially rendered stunned in the clip as he recognizes the two youngsters right away despite their size having grown considerably since Breaking Bad. Paul, who is obviously thrilled to see his “Peekaboo” co-stars again, then asks that they all take a photo together. Cranston gives each of the twins a fist bump and smiles as he greets them.
It’s possible that some Breaking Bad fans were unaware that twin child actors shared the role of the small boy in “Peekaboo.” Twins sharing a role can enable an additional video to be filmed with their character during that period as child actors can only work for a certain number of hours per week. Another well-known example of this is Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as Michelle Tanner on Full House, and it occurs frequently elsewhere in both cinema and television.
“Peekaboo” is a powerful episode of Breaking Bad that stands out.
When it first aired in 2009, the “Peekaboo” episode made an impression on a lot of people. In the second season episode, Aaron Paul plays Jesse Pinkman, who goes to the house of two addicts who stole meth from his friend Skinny Pete (Charles Baker). Inside, he is shocked to find a 5-year-old boy who has been abandoned and left to take care of himself in a shabby house. Jesse does what he can to keep the child entertained by playing “Peekaboo” with him. The child even smiles.
By the end of the episode, the boy’s mother has killed his father with a stolen ATM and is so high on meth that she passes out. Before running away, Jesse makes an anonymous call to the police. He does this because he knows that child protective services will save the boy. In a touching moment, Jesse makes sure to say goodbye to the young boy and tells him, “You have a good rest of your life, kid.”
Better Call Saul, a spinoff of Breaking Bad, only has two episodes left to air. This means that the Breaking Bad universe will end very soon. In the last season, Paul came back as Jesse Pinkman, and Bryan Cranston came back as Walter White. This was a big link between the prequel series and the original show. The last two episodes will be shown on AMC the next two Monday nights.
