Are Rachel Recchia and Aven Jones Dating? All About Her Love Life In 2022

Many people had different ideas about what would happen in the season 19 finale of ABC’s “The Bachelorette”. At the last rose ceremony, Tino Franco was joined by Aven Jones, Zach Shallcross, and Rachel Recchia. However, after part one of the finale, only Tino is still alive. After the show, Rachel and Tino engaged in significant conflict. Is there a chance that she and Aven will make up? 

Rachel Recchia &  Aven Jones Romantic Story

During The Bachelorette Season 19 finale, Rachel Recchia was in love with Aven Jones. Aven met Rachel’s friends and family after Zach Shallcross removed himself from the race. The encounter unfortunately didn’t go as expected. Aven told Rachel’s friends that he wasn’t sure he could become engaged before the conclusion of the season, contrary to what Rachel had anticipated he would be prepared to do. 

Aven was then confronted by Rachel about what he had said to her friends. Aven allegedly told Rachel on their overnight date that he was prepared to pop the question. Aven said again that he was falling for her, but he wanted to plan the proposal just right, so it might not happen on the show. 

He explained to her, “I just want to make sure that it’s 100% correct for both of us right now. “… I’m aware that someone is still participating in this, so that’s something else… I genuinely care about both of us, about you. This is significant. 

Unfortunately, Rachel decided to send Aven home because of his apprehension. 

When he appeared at the live portion of The Bachelorette finale on September 20, Aven Jones startled Rachel Recchia! After Aven saw her family in the first half of the finale, Rachel broke up with him, and she later got engaged to Tino Franco. Aven intervened for a second chance at love with Rachel after Tino’s adultery caused the couple to split up in the months after filming was finished.

After having just had a really difficult chat with Tino, Rachel was completely taken aback when she saw Aven enter the stage. When Aven appeared and the audience went wild, Tino was seated directly next to Rachel.

“I just wanted to stop by and let you know that this is hard and that you don’t really deserve everything that has happened. Would you like to leave and maybe catch up?” Asked Aven. I would love nothing more, Rachel exclaimed without even thinking.

After only a few weeks of dating, Aven told Rachel’s family that he wasn’t sure if he was ready to propose to her. This caused Rachel to break up with him. When it came to seeking an engagement at the end of filming, Rachel believed that Aven shared her desire. Aven made it clear that he wanted to stay with Rachel, even if that meant they would just keep dating and not get married.

Aven’s disclosure not only caught Rachel off guard; Rachel also expressed her embarrassment at her family learning about Aven’s feelings prior to her. Because of the misunderstanding, she ultimately decided to get rid of him before the last rose ceremony. The first time Rachel and Aven saw each other following their breakup was during the live section of the September 13 edition of the show.

They were able to resolve their differences and mend fences. Aven said that he was sorry for the way he handled the situation in Mexico. During the live sit-down, they both offered their apologies to the other. Aven had obviously been thinking about Rachel all week because he had returned to After The Final Rose! 

Is Aven Jones And Rachel Recchia Dating?

In the end, Tino Franco and Rachel Recchia are the only remaining couple as Aven Jones leaves during The Bachelorette Season 19 finale. However, based on The Bachelorette spoilers, it appears that Rachel and Tino’s relationship is in trouble. Possibility of Aven and Rachel dating now that the program has ended? 

Reality-related spoilers In the “After the Final Rose” special, Steve speculated that Aven might try to ask Rachel out on a date. Stevie tweeted that Aven will ask Rachel out after the concert while he is at the ATFR tonight. I doubt Rachel is aware of his presence. I’m unsure if I buy this. It seems like more is being done to make Rachel happy towards the end of the program, similar to when Tyler C. asked Hannah Brown out on her ATFR. 

Having said that, we don’t think Aven and Rachel will be able to patch things up. Aven acknowledged that he wasn’t really committed to Rachel’s proposal when she expressed her desire to leave the show engaged. On the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, he shared more about his emotions. 

“When I had enough time to sit there, assess where I was at and the state of our relationship… I had some fresh feelings and new ideas in relation to how I was feeling,” Aven remarked. “… I wasn’t going to force her into a proposal that, at the moment, I wasn’t really committed to. That wasn’t, in my opinion, fair to her.
