Bengals vs Browns; Who Won The Match? Here Is The Final Score Card & Everything You Need To Know

On Halloween, it was orange versus orange, but only one of the orange teams could be happy with how it played on Monday.

After a sluggish offensive start, the Browns dominated the Bengals by scoring a tonne of points in the second half. Cincinnati didn’t score until the fourth quarter and trailed by as much as 26 points while Ja’Marr Chase was inactive.

The NFL season‘s eighth week was concluded by the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, and the game was everything but close. Many people believed the Bengals would win even without Ja’Marr Chase, but that was far from the case.

The game did not reflect the fact that the Bengals had a 4-3 record compared to the Browns’ 2-5 record. There were no points scored throughout the first quarter, and nothing happened until the second.

The Bengals were unable to stop running back Nick Chubb, and the Browns quickly built an 11-0 lead.

The Browns scored 14 points in the third quarter without being challenged, extending their advantage to 25-0. The Bengals’ offence finally found its footing in the fourth quarter, scoring two touchdowns, but it was all for nothing.

Cleveland defeated the Bengals 32-12 at home to claim their third victory of the year. While Jacoby Brissett’s squad cut the gap on Baltimore, the Bengals now trail the Ravens by a game for first place in the AFC North.

The connection between Jacoby Brissett and Amari Cooper will be remembered that night, despite Nick Chubb recording another 100-yard rushing game. Cooper gained 131 yards and a touchdown in his best game with the Browns, while Brissett went 17 of 22 for 278 yards and a touchdown.

Deshaun Watson’s comeback is drawing nearer, and Cleveland seems to be establishing themselves across the board. For the Browns (3-5), who entered Monday having lost four straight games and were in danger of dropping to 2-6, the victory couldn’t have come at a better time.

The Bengals (4-4), who now trail the Ravens in the AFC North by a full game, will enter Week 9 with little chance of making the playoffs in the AFC.
