Better Things Season 5 Release Date Confirmed
Better Things here’s wishing you the clearest skies possible. On Monday, February 28, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the fifth and final season of Pamela Adlon’s comedy will premiere on FX. Pamela Adlon wrote, directed, and produced the show, which also stars her. It will also be available on Hulu.
With its final season approaching, the FX Productions show focuses on “the road ahead” for Sam Fox (Adlon), who is completely devoted to her life as a working actor and single mother as she navigates three growing daughters, the difficulties of her chosen profession, and the increasing signs of aging in her mother, as well her own. Sam just wants to move on from this period of her life and forgive her ex-boyfriend for the sake of her own mental health. As Sam made one final jab at Xander before the season ended, it is likely that Better Things season 5 will continue to explore their relationship even more in depth.
In addition, Sam’s eldest daughter Max, who recently started working at a restaurant, experienced a change of scenery in the season 4 finale. As a result of Sam’s desire for Max to move out on her own, there has been some tension in their relationship recently, and season 5 may also focus on Max as she begins to forge her own path as an adult, according to Deadline.
Regardless of the direction Better Things season 5 takes, it will undoubtedly be equally hilarious and heartbreaking in equal measure. Considering how well the show has done in all of its previous seasons, there will be high expectations for the upcoming season’s episodes as well.
