Love is in the air. Bradley Cooper now has a new girlfriend. ET has been told by a reliable source that the 47-year-old actor and director is dating Huma Abedin.
“They have kept their relationship quiet and haven’t been seen together in public,” a source says. “They wanted to get to know each other better before telling everyone else. They have a lot in common and have had a good time together. Things are going very well.”
Page Six says that Abedin, who was vice-chairperson of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and stayed on as her personal assistant, has been dating Cooper for a few months. Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, was the one who set them up. This year, both Abedin and Cooper went to the Met Gala, which Wintour is in charge of.
Abedin is almost done with her divorce from disgraced politician Anthony Weiner, 57, whom she married in 2010 and filed for divorce from in 2017. Jordan, who is 10, is their son.
Cooper, on the other hand, has a 5-year-old daughter named Lea with his ex, the model Irina Shayk, who is 36 years old. Cooper and Shayk are still close friends and co-parents. They spend a lot of time together and show their support for each other at public events.
Shayk recently showed up at the December premiere of Nightmare Alley to support Cooper. At the time, the actor told ET that he and Shayk have a “very special” friendship.
