It has a few characteristics in common with other isekai series, such as “KonoSuba” and “My Isekai Life,” that aren’t found in other isekai series. The light book series, written by author Roy and illustrated by artist Ririnra, opens with the main character dying and being reborn in a fantasy-themed world. However, instead of frenzied humorous escapades in a fantasy world, “By the Grace of the Gods” is a bit more slice of life, with its hero taking his time in the villages he visits and assisting others on a regular basis without the necessity of conflict. In 2020, a successful anime adaptation of the light novels will be released. A new season of the anime “By the Grace of the Gods” has already been announced, which is great news for fans.

By The Grace Of The Gods Season 2 Release Date
After a 12-episode run in late 2020, Season 1’s “By the Grace of the Gods” came to an end. A second season of the show was not confirmed for some months, much to the disappointment of fans. By the Grace of the Gods” has been on hiatus since its first season, but that changed in June 2021 when the official anime website announced that the second season had begun production. A release date for the new season has not yet been announced, which is a disappointment. Possibly the earliest that the new season will premiere is in 2022, namely during the fall anime season of that year. Season 1 of the show will launch in October 2020, so this would be a similar experience. The film, if all goes well, should be released no later than 2023, according to the studio’s estimates.
Season 2 of “By the Grace of the Gods” has already been confirmed for release in the United States by Funimation. Almost simultaneously with the confirmation of Season 2, Funimation announced that it would stream the next season in its entirety as it airs on Japanese television networks. Chief animation director Kaho Deguchi of the anime series “By the Grace of the Gods” submitted a special artwork of the series’ main character Ryoma to Funimation to honor the creation of Season 2 of the anime series. A 39-year-old Japanese salaryman named Ryoma is reincarnated into a new planet as an 8-year-old kid capable of taming hundreds of slime monsters, which is the central plot of the series from its inception. However, while Ryoma’s old, uneventful adult life and death by sneezing hard enough to hit his skull and bleed to death are tragic, his adventures in his new world prove to be far more rewarding.
It’s possible that the second season of “By the Grace of the Gods” may bring Ryoma back together with his best friend Eliaria Jamil, as well as the rest of the Jamil clan. In the young adventurer’s contacts with other people, Eliaria and her family stand out as some of the kindest and most skilled. According to the official anime website, Eliaria travels to the royal capital in order to devote more time to her magic training and development. As a commitment, Ryoma says he would return to see her in three years. Season 2 may include several new characters who have only previously appeared in the light novels, in addition to returning favorites.
By The Grace Of The Gods Season 2 Plot
After avoiding a potential catastrophe caused by dangerous limur birds assaulting a hamlet at the conclusion of Season 1, Ryoma departs from the Jamil family once more, this time heading out to construct a new home for himself. The second season will most likely focus on the various different adventures that Ryoma and his slime creatures find themselves into. While the anime has adhered to the majority of the major plot aspects from the original light novels, there are still additional volumes that could potentially be used for episodes in Season 2.
For example, shortly after leaving the Jamil family in Volume 4 of the novel, Ryoma begins making arrangements for establishing a second economic enterprise. He also embarks on his first successful solo expedition and even attends a wedding that is so grand that it is attended by some of the gods of his planet (via J-Novel Club). The planned second season of the anime series “By the Grace of the Gods” will most likely include a lot of the major events from the light novels.
