The film Blonde is a fictionalized account of the life of the legendary Marilyn Monroe. The premiere of Andrew Dominik’s Blonde on Netflix has been met with mixed reviews. The film is based on the novel by Joyce Carol Oates of the same name, which provides a fictionalized journey through the life of Marilyn Monroe.
Ana de Armas plays Monroe in the film Blonde, with Bobby Cannavale playing her second husband, Joe DiMaggio, and Adrien Brody portraying her third playwright Arthur Miller. “It was the most intense work I’ve ever done as an actress,” she said to EW.
“For that, I spent an entire year studying and practicing my accent and everything else you can think of. For a long time, I have been reading up on the subject, chatting to Andrew Dominik, and otherwise getting ready to get started. The filming schedule was so intense that it lasted for an entire three months.”
In her own words, she continued: “It was the loveliest act I have ever performed. I, for one, cannot wait for its release. Indeed, Andrew is a genius, and his film is something truly exceptional. In my experience, he is among the top filmmakers I have collaborated with.”

They tied the knot the same year he finalized his divorce from his first wife and stayed together for five blissful years. Adrien Brody, who won an Academy Award for his role in The Pianist, is an American actor who has appeared in various films.
These include The Thin Red Line, The Village, King Kong, The Darjeeling Limited, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, Predators, Midnight in Paris, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and The French Dispatch. Brody has also been seen in the most recent season of Peaky Blinders.

5. Gladys Pearl Baker, portrayed by Julianne Nicholson
