Chadwick Boseman Cause Of Death
Colon cancer was the cause of Boseman’s demise. According to TMZ’s September 2020 article, donations to colon cancer awareness and research increased dramatically after Boseman’s passing. In the US, the illness ranks as the third most common type of cancer in both men and women.
Within days of Boseman’s passing, Anjee Davis, the president of Fight Colorectal Cancer, told TMZ that her charity had increased its social media following and had received more than $10,000 in donations.
At the time, she informed TMZ that the money would go toward funding studies aimed at developing more effective treatments and finding a colon cancer cure. Additionally, she hoped that Boseman’s passing would raise awareness of the illness, encourage individuals to check their family history for colon cancer, and encourage those who have observed symptoms or indicators to get screened early.
In the 2022 documentary Autopsy: The Last Hours Of… Chadwick Boseman, forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter added that Boseman’s early death from colon cancer was unusual.
