It is official: Clare Crawley is now engaged!
On Monday, the former “Bachelorette” star shared through Instagram that she had accepted her boyfriend Ryan Dawkins‘ proposal from the previous weekend in Las Vegas.
She posted a photo to Instagram with the statement, “He has held me in the darkness, loves me through my healing, and we now celebrate the light together.” Her future husband was on one knee.
The simplest “yes” I have ever given. Crawley, who is 41 years old, also posted a video of the private proposal with the phrase “HIM.”
In an interview with People after the proposal, the hairstylist expressed her “over the moon” happiness at Dawkins’ thoughtful gesture. “Coming from where I was a year ago, this was the last thing I expected right now,” she said.
It has been a long road, and Ryan’s been there with me the whole way. Crawley continued her praise of her fiance by saying, “Really, what he is in it for is my heart, and he is so consistent and vocal about how much he loves me.”

However, they never confirmed their connection, which appeared to end soon after.
Crawley has been vocal about her “painful” romantic history since her time as Season 16’s protagonist, but it seems she has found her happily ever after. However, Crawley’s representatives did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
