Amian Lillard isn’t afraid of the grind, and he’s not afraid of the bag, either.
Bobby Marks of ESPN says that the six-time All-Star signed a new two-year, $122 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.
Damian Lillard has signed a two-year $122 million extension with the Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell ESPN. The extension has a player option for the 2026-27 season.

With the new deal, he will be under contract until the 2026-27 season. Marks said that the deal gives Lillard a player option for the last season.
Lillard just finished the first year of a supermax contract extension with Portland that he signed in 2019. He is on track to make more than $42 million in 2022-23, more than $45 million in 2023-24, and more than $48 million in 2024-25. In 2025-26 and 2026-27, he will earn an average of more than $60 million each year.
Portland took Lillard with the sixth pick in the NBA Draft in 2012, and he has been with the team ever since. From 2014 to 2021, Lillard helped the team make the playoffs eight times in a row, including a trip to the Western Conference Finals in 2019.
Last season, Lillard could only play in 29 games because of an injury to his stomach. The team threw away the rest of the season and got the seventh pick in the NBA Draft in 2022, which they used to pick Shaedon Sharpe from Kentucky.
