Drifting Home Netflix release date
With the release of the second official teaser, it has been confirmed that Drifting Home will be available to stream on Netflix starting on Friday, September 16, 2022.
In 2022, the movie will also be shown in theatres in Japan.
What is the plot of Drifting Home?
This summer, Kosuke and his friends go to a run-down apartment building that is going to be torn down. However, the group ends up in the middle of a strange event. Kosuke and his friends are stuck in the middle of an endless ocean and need to find a way to get back to land.
Every bit of information that has been found so far has shown how important early thoughts were. Kosuke and Natsume were best friends as kids and could not be apart. As teenagers, they have grown apart. Most of the time, this is because the building where they used to live is now empty. The building is going to be torn down, so ironically, the two go back to investigate and look for ghosts with their friends before it’s gone forever. A strange thing happens in the middle of the kids’ urban caving trip.
When the group comes out of their coma, they find that their apartment building has been lifted into the air and is floating away with the tides. The plot of Drifting Home is new and different. It is about how the gang tries to survive and get back together with their family.
