Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s NSFW joke and country music duet on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ surprise fans
On an episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the star of “Black Adam” delivered a joke that had the show’s host jumping out of her seat with laughter. On Monday’s edition of “The Rock” Dwayne “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” Johnson did more than one thing to startle viewers.
Johnson performed a country duet with the veteran performer on an episode of “Kellyoke,” When Johnson and Clarkson performed “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’”, a song made famous by the late Loretta Lynn, fans were taken aback.

It was speculated on Twitter that “I would have never guessed The Rock could sing a country song.” A second viewer of the video commented on YouTube, saying, “This is unexpected, didn’t know Dwayne sang until now and loved his low voice that matches with Kelly’s high notes.”
Given that Lynn passed away on October 4th, the song’s selection was not coincidental. Johnson told Clarkson that he had been a fan of the country music icon for quite some time.

In 2016, the film “Moana.” included Johnson’s singing voice in a song. On Monday’s show, Johnson told a joke about Clarkson laughing so hard she had to get out of her seat.

A fan asked, “What is Black Adam’s favourite Dwayne Johnson movie?” during a fan-asked-questions section. Johnson remarked, “Uh, I made a movie one time with my wife” (which was met with hysterical laughter from the crowd).
“No, I am sorry. Never mind.” Clarkson sat there for a second longer than necessary to get the joke before she leapt up and walked away from Johnson.
“The amount of time it took for me to get that,” she reflected. “A replay of my expression would make me say “Oh, that is sweet” and then Oh!” That is an excellent idea, I think. Avoid boasting.”
Johnson is “hella funny, and you never know what he’s going to say!” said one YouTube commentator. Lauren Hashian and Johnson have been married since 2019. They are the proud parents of Jasmine, 6, and Tiana, 4.
The DC Comics adaptation “Black Adam”, directed by Johnson, opens this Friday. Besides Johnson, other film stars who joined him on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” were Sarah Shahi, Noah Centineo, Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, and Quintessa Swindell.
