‘Dancing With the Stars’ Contestants Made Halloween Night Thrilling and Enthusiastic: A Recap of the Episode
That’s three things to worry about: a perfect score, being eliminated and being placed in the wrong group. On Monday, October 31st, the Dancing With the Stars participants stunned viewers with their Halloween performances.
In Week 7 of DWTS, Gabby Windey danced with a new partner. After a positive COVID-19 test for Val Chmerkovskiy, Alan Bersten took his place.
The Bachelorette alum was happy to have found a partner, but she worried they were still getting to know each other. Gabby wanted to get back to the top of the leaderboard after earning a perfect 40 a couple of weeks ago and falling during Michael Bublé night, and Val wanted to make her proud.

Yet, not long after their first rehearsal, he came up positive. Even though Val informed Gabby that Alan had been walked through the choreography, the freshly eliminated pro remained wary about their bond.
It took me a while to feel safe with Val in my personal space, so I’m understandably anxious. In a prerecorded packet, Gabby explains, “Alan and I need to get familiar with each other.
I definitely don’t want to drop much farther in the standings. To a slow and sensual rendition of Ed Sheeran’s “Shiver,” the two vampires danced the Argentine tango.
According to Judge Bruno Tonioli, “Love at first taste!” It was a visual and auditory extravaganza.

One hundred percent, no more rounds, and random assignment to groups, oh my! On Monday, October 31st, the Dancing With the Stars participants stunned viewers with their Halloween performances.

As Carrie Ann Inaba put it, “it demands so much vulnerability, yet you had your strength the whole time, to be able to change and pivot to a new partner and still have that much chemistry.” In a word, yes! I’m really pleased with how vital and meaningful it was.
But Len Goodman complained that the dance was too fast, and the crowd hissed at him. “I’m attempting to be helpful and cordial. In particular, I admire this girl’s dancing.
The only thing I want is for it to improve continually,” he said. There was a minor problem with the legwork, and Derek Hough thought it might have been due to a lack of speed. The total score for Gabby and Alan was 38 out of 40.
They got a second chance to show their skills during the team competition. Heidi D’Amelio, Jordin Sparks, Shangela, Vinny Guadagnino, and their respective partners were all members of Team Wicked. After performing to Hocus Pocus 2’s “The Witches Are Back,” Team Wicked received 33 out of a possible 40 points.
In terms of dancing, Team Scream bested them by a wide margin (39 to 0). During their performance of “Heads Will Roll,” Charli D’Amelio, Daniel Durant, Trevor Donovan, and Wayne Brady each brought their own partner to the stage.
Even though everyone earned a perfect score, one couple had to leave. Together with Heidi and Artem Chigvintsev, Jordin and Brandon Armstrong had one of the two worst spots.
Before casting his vote for Jordin, Bruno told the group, “You’ve all done so well and should be proud of your effort, whatever.” Even Derek Hough hesitated before casting his ballot for Jordin.
Carrie Ann sided with Heidi but let Len make the final decision. According to the head judge, Heidi made the most progress throughout the competition.
He decided that they should stay while Jordin and Brandon should leave. The former American Idol contestant described her time on Dancing with the Stars as “life-changing” after she was eliminated.
