But Mateo’s brother Andres Lorenzo shared an Instagram story on March 23, the same day that the wedding banns were mentioned. In it, he showed what looked like Erich and Mateo facing an altar in a church.

Mateo was one of the twelve children born to business billionaire Martin Ignacio Paez Lorenzo and his wife Leah De Leon Lorenzo. The elder Lorenzo is Chairman and CEO of Central Azucarera de Tarlac, Inc., which is described on its LinkedIn profile as “one of the economic prime movers of Central Luzon.”
In Barrio San Miguel, Tarlac City, the company “operates a sugar mill and refinery, distillery, and carbon dioxide plants.” In the same profile, it was noted that Mr. Lorenzo has led eighteen different firms.
Mateo’s father started or bought several food companies, including Dencio’s in 2004, Terriyaki Boy in 2005, Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak in 2007, Kabisera ng Dencio’s in 2008, Le Coeur de France in 2008, Yellow Cab, and Chicken Rice Shop in 2011. He previously owned and operated Pancake House and Del Monte Philippines.
