Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin Get Married: Who is the Husband of Sanna Marin?
From any point of view, Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin is pretty impressive. Since December 10, 2019, the 34-year-old leader of the center-left Social Democratic party has been Finland’s elected leader. She has been leading her country through what can’t have been an easy time with a pandemic going on.
This weekend, Marin married Markus Raikonnen, her long-term partner and a very stylish man. The couple has been together for 16 years. They met when they were both 18 years old. They already have a daughter, Emma Amalia Marin, who is two and a half years old.
Marin’s wedding took place at Kesaranta, his official home in Helsinki. About 40 people, mostly close friends and family, were there. Marin posted a sweet picture of herself and her new husband on Instagram. The picture was taken on the green grounds of the Helsinki residence. She put it down on paper ‘Yesterday we said to each other I will. I am happy and grateful that I get to share my life with the man I love. We have seen and experienced a lot together, shared joys and sorrows, and supported each other at the bottom and in the storm. We have lived together in our youth, grown up, and grown older with our beloved daughter. Of all the people, you’re right for me. Thank you for being by my side.’
Sanna Marin looked amazing in an ethereal off-white floor-length dress with long sleeves and a veil pinned in her hair. Her bouquet had cream peonies and greenery, and her groom, a former Finnish soccer player, looked sharp in a classic tuxedo.
Their permanent home is in the Kaleva neighborhood of the Finnish city of Tampere, but during the coronavirus pandemic, they have been staying at the official residence of the Prime Minister. When Sanna Marin took office in December, she was the world’s youngest serving head of government. She lost that title when Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, who turns 34 later this month, returned to power a few weeks later.
Ms. Marin, who has been a member of parliament (MP) since 2015, said that she wants to give fathers the same amount of paid parental leave as mothers to promote equality and increase the number of babies being born. Under Marin, new fathers will be able to take almost as much time off as new moms, which is about seven months. The BBC said that Sanna’s impressive political career “began when he was 20 years old” and that it continues to grow.
PM Apologises For Clubbing Despite Covid Contact
Marin used Facebook to talk about the backlash she got for going out to a nightclub. She said that on Saturday, a text message asking her to stay in quarantine and get tested for covid was sent to her work phone, but she didn’t get it until Sunday.
“I immediately applied for a test, the result was negative,” she added.
After explaining what was going on, the PM wrote an apology for what she had done: “I should have used better consideration on Saturday night and rehearsed the instruction I got another time.
“I’m really sorry I didn’t understand how to do this.”
