Reports Reveal Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde Have Split
When the news of the breakup between Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde, who had been dating for two years, spread on social media, the pop star’s fans reacted with an unusual (but not unexpected) degree of joy.
The “As It Was” singer reportedly came to a decision with Wilde as he was getting ready to embark on his Love On Tour abroad.

After the success of Olivia Wilde’s second directorial effort, Don’t Worry Darling, the couple decided to go their separate ways, mirroring the events depicted in the film’s metafictional movie-within-a-movie plot.
The actor-director split has resurrected the Twitter threads and TikTok comments, even if the chronology of the post-movie crisis, which includes reported breakups, love affairs, fallouts, and a split gate, has been partially settled.
The Styles army jumped on their digital bullhorns to celebrate the news. Cakes were even posted in some instances to mark the occasion.
There was also the lively back-and-forth in one’s head via messaging. The public’s reaction to the couple’s age gap was one of outrage, and a vocal subset of Styles’ fanbase has spent the whole of their relationship poking fun at Wilde in every possible way, from her dancing to her old jokes.

During an interview with Brittany Spanos of Rolling Stone, Styles described Twitter as “a shitstorm of people trying to be horrible to others,”
He admitted that certain online communities were harmful to individuals close to him. Clearly, he added, “it does not make me feel good.”

Nonetheless, Styles conceded that not all of his followers are critics. It’s obviously tough to feel that being close to me puts you at the mercy of some Twitter troll, he said.
Singing was all I wanted to do. Getting involved would have meant hurting people, and I didn’t want to do that.
