Can We Expect a ‘Hocus Pocus 3’? What Does the Cast of the Movie Reveal About the Same?

Could there be three Hocus Pocus movies?

After seeing Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney+ with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, this is the big question on fans’ minds. The second movie takes place almost 30 years after the first one. The Sanderson sisters are back and getting into trouble in Salem again.

Even though the three witches get their happy ending, the movie has a scene after the credits that could be the start of another movie.

What happens at the end of Hocus Pocus 2?

At the end of the movie, Becca (Whitney Peak), who turns out to be a witch herself, helps beat the Sanderson sisters again. After Winifred finishes a dark spell called Magicae Maxima, which is supposed to make her the most powerful witch, she finds out quickly that it will cost her sisters’ lives.

Winifred begs Becca for help after her sisters turn to dust again. As the new owner of Winifred’s spell book, Becca complies with her request. With the help of her friends, she casts a spell that brings Winifred back together with her sisters in the afterlife.

At the end of the movie, as Becca and her new coven walk down the street, happy with their new magical skills, they are followed by the same bird that Mother Witch (Hannah Waddingham) turned into at the beginning of the movie.

The end credits scene also hints that the Sanderson sisters could come back for more. Back in Gilbert’s Olde Salem Magic Shoppe, the owner’s black cat, Cobweb, can be seen climbing onto a shelf.

As he sits on a box, the camera zooms in on a label that says “B.F. CANDLE #2,” This suggests that there is another Black Flame Candle that could bring the sisters back.

What do the actors have to say about coming back for Hocus Pocus 3?

Even though Disney+ has not said for sure that there would be another Hocus Pocus movie, there is a good chance that there will be. Not only did the sequel just become Disney+’s No. 1 movie debut in the U.S., but the actors have already said they would like to play their roles again.

During the New York City premiere of Hocus Pocus 2, Parker hinted that she would do a third Hocus Pocus if Midler were also in it. She told Extra that Bette is already spreading rumors about the possible sequel..

“I hook up with her star. If she wants to do one more… The Divine Miss M can not be turned down.” Najimy told PEOPLE that she is a firm believer in the phrase “never say never.” “It was fun but not a big deal.

Even though it is a lot, who knows? Who would have thought we would be making this sequel almost 30 years later?” She joked to PEOPLE, “I think that if we did it again 30 years later, people would be using walkers and canes.

The flying might not be much more than a one-foot blip.”

What would happen in Hocus Pocus 3?

Since the second movie came out, fans have been making all kinds of ideas about what a third movie might be about. One popular idea is that it could be about the new character Mother Witch, who gave the Sanderson sisters her spell book when they were younger.

As she appears to be following Becca’s new coven at the end of the film (in bird form), some think that Mother Witch could become the big villain in a third movie — perhaps following Becca’s new coven rising to power and potentially seeking help from the Sanderson sisters to defeat Mother Witch.
