On Wednesday, December 28th, the 33-year-old singer announced on Instagram that she and her husband, Joe Swash, are expecting their second child together. The singer first gained widespread attention in 2009 when she placed third on the sixth season of The X Factor. Solomon informed her fans and subscribers by posting a video to her channel, revealing that she had stunned Swash with the news she was expecting. At that point in the clip, the TV hostess beckoned her husband into the bathroom and proudly displayed the positive pregnancy test. “What is that in your hand?” Swash inquired, then exclaimed in astonishment,
“You’re joking!” upon realizing what it was. Swash then tells Solomon, “This is the finest news, Bubba,” as the two embraces tenderly in the video. At the end of the post, a happy couple is shown proudly displaying the positive pregnancy test. Thankful beyond words, and I can hardly believe I’m saying this… More trouble is on the road… It came as a complete shock, but it’s one for which we are eternally grateful.
