On New Year’s Day, Renner was taken to the hospital after being hit by a snowplough while clearing a driveway near his Nevada home. According to a statement sent by his publicist, he suffered traumatic chest injuries and required two surgeries.

What Happened to Jeremy Renner?
In an interview with the Reno Gazette-Journal, Renner’s friend and the city’s mayor, Hillary Schieve, said that the actor had gotten out of his snowplough to help a stranded motorist before being struck and killed by the vehicle. Schieve claimed that the man was aiding a snowbound traveler. This was about 25 minutes from downtown Reno, not far from where he lived on the Mt. Rose Highway. According to TMZ’s account of the incident, Renner lost a lot of blood as the plough ran over his leg and other body parts. Fortunately, a doctor’s neighbor was available to place a tourniquet on his leg until emergency personnel came. The machine has multiple failsafe and should not have rolled over Renner. Thus the situation was being treated as if it were a crime in progress, as reported by TMZ. An impoundment was placed on the snowplough.

What is his condition right now?
Renner endured two procedures to treat his injuries after being airlifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at roughly 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He is currently listed in critical but stable condition. He was reportedly “totally crushed” by the vast machinery and bleeding heavily. He was having trouble breathing. Almost three weeks after the accident that left him in serious condition, Renner was able to go home from the hospital. The star of “The Mayor of Kingstown” tweeted on January 16, 2023, “Outside my brain fog in recuperation, I was really delighted to watch episode 201 with my family at home.” It was “far worse than anyone knows,” according to Renner’s acquaintances.
