John Lodge is an English singer-songwriter as well as a musician. The band The Moody Blues is well recognized for having John Lodge on vocals and bass. He began his career in the Birmingham music scene but took a brief hiatus to concentrate on his education.

Over the Christmas break, John Lodge, the bassist and lead singer/songwriter for the Moody Blues, is recovering from what is being characterized as a “serious medical issue”.
His team stated on January 11, 2024, that he is “already well on the mend.” Regrettably, his scheduled February and March U.S. tour, “Performs Days of Future Passed,” has had to be postponed due to an undisclosed health concern.
Lodge, who was born on July 20, 1945, stated in the post: “I hate to disappoint everyone, but whilst I can’t wait to get back on the road with my new show, I won’t be able to travel for the next couple of months. I’m doing well, surrounded by the love and support of my family, and spending my time writing music. I would like to thank everyone for keeping the faith.”
The dates were supposed to coincide with earlier in 2023; they were first revealed in October. They will be including tracks from The Moody Blues’ “Seventh Sojourn” and “Days of Future Passed” albums.

Lodge and his band will play the full, orchestral version of the pioneering Days of Future Passed record during the second set. It also mentioned the thrilling additions of new classic songs and deep cuts, improved video, and eye-catching lighting from the original production.
Lodge’s “10,000 Light Years Band,” which includes longtime colleague Alan Hewitt (music director and keyboards), Billy Ashbaugh (drums), Duffy King (guitars), and Jason Charboneau (cello), will accompany him on stage when the tour is rescheduled. A unique video and recording of the late Graeme Edge’s poems “Morning Glory” and “Late Lament” will also be included in the performance. These poems, which Edge penned for the album, were first delivered by Mike Pinder. In order for Lodge to constantly be on stage with him, he asked Edge to record them.
It was also anticipated that Lodge’s son-in-law, Jon Davison of YES, would sing the beloved classic rock songs “Tuesday Afternoon” and “Nights in White Satin.”
