What Controversy is Majors Currently Involved in?
A domestic abuse case involving Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, has come to light. The 30-year-old British dancer and movement teacher Jabbari testified against Majors in a recent court appearance. One of the most critical pieces of evidence she produced was a September 2020 audio recording.
Majors can be heard insisting that Jabbari imitate well-known people like Michelle Obama and Coretta Scott King in this recording. In addition, he was overheard emphasizing how important it is for him to accomplish big things for both the globe and his culture.
Majors has pled not guilty to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges and continues to maintain his innocence in the face of these grave allegations.
“I’m a great man. A great man. I do great things for my culture and for the world. … The woman that supports me needs to be a great woman…Two nights ago, you did not do that, which took away from the plan…” Majors said in the audio recording.
Notably, Jabbari’s evidence caused the case to change drastically. She described numerous instances of Majors’ aggressive tendencies and extreme rage, including possessiveness and jealousy, in her testimony.
It should be mentioned that the main event of the trial happened in March when Majors was taken into custody and accused of assault in Manhattan after a domestic fight.
Jabbari allegedly became suspicious of adultery after reading a text on Major’s phone that sparked this incident. Jabbari ended up being admitted to the hospital after that for minor wounds.
She then claimed that Majors had seized her neck, twisted her finger, and struck her in the face. Majors responded by filing a countercomplaint against Jabbari and refuting the allegations through the representation of his attorney.
