Adding to the Kardashian family. Us Weekly has heard from multiple sources that Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are having their second child through a surrogate.
In a statement to Us on Wednesday, July 13, a rep for Kardashian said, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November.” “Khloe is very thankful to the wonderful surrogate for giving her such a beautiful gift. Please be kind and give Khloe some space so she can focus on her family.”
In the middle of Thompson’s paternity scandal, during which he and Maralee Nichols had their son Theo, the surrogate was already pregnant. Before Keeping Up With the Kardashians ended, the Hulu star talked about her plans to have IVF on an episode of the show.
In February 2021, the reality star told Thompson, “I’m going to need you.” “We have to work around your schedule so I can use my frozen eggs to make embryos. … I think I’m ready to start all over again with being pregnant. This could take some time. I have no idea. I’d like to be ready.”
The next month, the author of Strong Looks Better Naked told Kim Kardashian that she was looking into surrogacy because she had a “high risk” of miscarrying. “[My doctor] said she would feel terrible putting [an embryo] in without telling me that most likely I wouldn’t be able to carry,” she said.
In April 2018, Khloé and Thompson’s daughter, True, was born. After the athlete had several cheating scandals, including one in the last weeks of Khloé’s pregnancy, the on-again, the off-again couple kept raising their daughter together.
The couple broke up in February 2019 after Thompson kissed Jordyn Woods, who was Kylie Jenner’s best friend at the time. In August 2020, Us Weekly said that they had started dating again after being quarantined together in Los Angeles during the coronavirus pandemic and that they wanted to give True a sibling.
Earlier that year, Khloé denied rumors that she and the NBA player were going to have another child.
The Revenge Body host tweeted in May 2020, “I don’t use social media much these days, and this is one of the main reasons why.” “Some people say sick and hurtful things. So many things I see make me feel sick. People say they know everything there is to know about me.
So does my uterus. Sick. You’re saying mean things about me because of a rumor. So many hurtful and awful stories and tweets have been written about me because of a false story. And if it was true, it’s MY LIFE, NOT YOURS.”
The co-founder of Good American then wrote, “It’s funny how picky and choosy some people can be about who they like and how they think other people should live their lives. I think people should focus on their own lives and families, try to make the scary world we live in a better place, and try to show kindness instead of meanness.
We confirmed that they broke up again in June 2021. Nichols said she got pregnant after hooking up with Thompson, who used to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Six months later, in March 2021, the news came out that Nichols was suing Thompson for child support. Theo was born in December 2021, and one month later, Thompson apologized to Khloé on social media for being Theo’s father.
In season 1 of The Kardashians, the scandal was talked about, and Khloé said that Thompson’s actions made her feel “embarrassed.”
