The movie’s plot is not widely recognised. The sole official plot summary provided by Netflix is that Detective Benoit Blanc will visit Greece in order to “peel back the layers of a case involving a new cast of suspects.”

Johnson recently discussed how Agatha Christie served as another source of inspiration for him when writing the sequel in a thread on Instagram.

Along with Rian Johnson, numerous Knives Out crew members—including director of photography Steve Yedlin, composer Nathan Johnson, and editor Bob Ducsay—returned to work on Glass Onion. Daniel Craig will reprise his role as investigator Benoit Blanc in the forthcoming film. According to the first teaser posted by Netflix, the rest of the cast is made up of several well-known actors and familiar faces, including Dave Bautista, Madelyn Cline, Janelle Monee, Kathryn Hahn, Jessica Henwick, Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, and Leslie Odom Jr.
