After the last show of her Chromatica Ball tour in Florida, Lady Gaga had to stop because of a strong storm. When lightning started to strike around Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, the star was nearing the end of her show. She told the 65,000 fans at the show, “We just got to stop the show for a minute,” She also told them to “really calmly move to the inside area.”
She had hoped the storm would pass, but in the end, the concert had to be canceled. Later, the star wrote a tearful apology to her fans on Instagram. “We tried to finish the show tonight in Miami, but we couldn’t because even when the rain stopped, there was lightning striking right down to the ground so close to us,” she said, still wearing her stage outfit and wiping rain from her face.
“I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to anybody in the audience or any member of my crew.” The singer then picked up a bouquet of roses that a fan had thrown onto the stage and said she would “cherish them forever.” The Miami Dolphins play American football at Hard Rock Stadium, which only has a partial roof.

Before the show was canceled, people gathered under the covered part of the venue and sang Lady Gaga’s hit song “Rain On Me,” which was punctuated by scary thunderclaps. Even though they eventually returned to their seats, the concert could not go on because it was too dangerous.

Gaga, who still had about six songs to play, went on stage to tell the crowd: “I don’t want to put your life in danger.” “Get home safely. God bless you, and thank you for coming to the show,” she said as she took her last bow. Fans who went to the show said it was “clearly upset” that Gaga was upset that it was canceled.
“It was surreal and regrettable when she came out and told us to go home,” one Reddit user wrote. “You could tell how heartbroken she was.” The Hard Rock stadium put up a message on Twitter: “Tonight’s Lady Gaga show had to be stopped at 10:50 p.m. to make sure fans were safe because of bad weather, which included lightning.
Thank you for being able to understand.” The Chromatica Ball tour started in July in Dusseldorf, Germany, and then went to Sweden, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Japan, and North America.

The Guardian called it a “hit-stacked show that also creates an intimate human connection,” Rolling Stone said it was “a reminder that she’s one of the greatest living musical performers.” The tour was limited to 20 shows, and Gaga took several days off between shows to help her deal with fibromyalgia.
Because of this condition, she is often in pain all the time, and in 2018 she had to cancel the last ten dates of her world tour. She said on Instagram after the Miami show, “It took so much in my heart to get back to a place where I could perform and be healthy,” “I did not finish the show partly because I am in good health.
It is the right thing to do for all of you and me, too. So, I love you, and I will see you on stage again soon.”+
