The Toretto family, the emotional core of the Fast and the Furious film, will grow once more in Fast X, with Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto getting a son played by Leo Abelo Perry, who will be an actual character and not a bargaining chip, abduction victim, or barely there baby.
Leo Abelo Perry of “Cheaper by the Dozen” has joined the cast of “Fast X” as Dom Toretto’s kid, according to an exclusive report by Variety.
Perry will portray Dom and Elena Neves’s son (Elsa Pataky). In the 2017 film The Fate of the Furious, he and his mother were stolen as infants and used by Cipher (Charlize Theron) to blackmail Dom. He is saved by Deckard (Jason Statham) and Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), and Dom names him after his deceased buddy Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker). In the 2021 film F9, he lives with Dom and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) in their farmhouse.

Recently, Perry portrayed Chip in the ABC extraordinary “Beauty and the Beast: 30th Celebration” alongside H.E.R., Josh Groban, Shania Twain, Martin Short, and Rita Moreno, who portrays his great-grandmother in “Fast X.” In the 2018 Disney+ adaptation of “Cheaper by the Dozen” starring Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff, he made his debut as Luca at the age of nine.
