Looks Like Candace Owens And More Might Get Roped Into $250 Million Lawsuit Against Kanye West
Kanye West has been in the midst of divorce proceedings but this week, he was himself in even more serious litigation with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
The family of George Floyd, who passed away in 2020 after a Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for nine and a half minutes, has filed a $250 million lawsuit against the rapper.

According to sources, political analyst Candace Owens and others may also be included in the lawsuit.
Roxie Washington brought the action on behalf of Gianna Floyd, the late Floyd’s sole child and the daughter of her and George Floyd. Washington’s attorneys verified in a statement that She is suing Kanye West and his business associates for emotional anguish, defamation, harassment, and misappropriation.
The legal team is currently evaluating a number of potential defendants in the case, according to TMZ. In addition to the aforementioned Candace Owens, legal action may also be taken against the Drink Champs podcast, Revolt TV, and the show’s host, on which West made the statements.
The Floyd family and many critics expressed their displeasure with the fashion mogul after his presence on the podcast last week. He asserted that Derek Chauvin, a convicted former police officer, “wasn’t even on his neck like that” while speaking about Floyd’s death.

Many people have criticized the movie for having an erroneous depiction of the events, which has made it divisive. According to rumors, Roxie Washington may be sizing up Owens in the outfit for this reason.

Kanye West has recently been entangled in a number of controversies, this being just one of them. Following his criticism of Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson earlier this month, West stirred some controversy surrounding fashion shows. In the end, celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber got involved by speaking out in favor of the journalist. Later, West asserted that he had spoken with Karefa-Johnson and resolved the issue.
Ye has not yet made an official response to the lawsuit filed by the Floyd family as of this writing. And it appears as if Roxie Washington will proceed in the manner she planned, barring any unexpected developments. It will be interesting to see whether she decides to add Candace Owens, Revolt TV, and other people.
