Brittany Aldean’s Instagram controversy angers Maren Morris and Cassadee Pope
The singers Cassadee Pope and Brittany Aldean had a heated argument online. After Jason Aldean’s wife put up a post about gender identity and children who want to change from the sex they were given at birth, a heated debate broke out.
The two kept criticizing each other online, and Pope’s friend Maren Morris joined in and called Brittany an “insurrection Barbie.” Britannica says an “insurrection” is a planned act of violence or a rebellion against the government.
Brittany Aldean posted a video of herself doing a makeup tutorial on her Instagram account. She put the song “Upgrade U” by Beyoncé from 2006 with the video and wrote in the post’s caption: “I would like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love being a girl.”
Cassadee Pope, Maren Morris slam Brittany Aldean for her children transitioning comments
Even though it seemed like the influencer was making a joke online, her comment was seen as hurtful to the LGBTQ+ community. On Friday, August 26, singer Cassadee Pope went on Twitter to say bad things about the celebrity wife.
Maren Morris, who used to be the singer’s boss and is a longtime friend, also joined the conversation to show support for the LGBTQ+ community. Morris wrote a long comment about Brittany Aldean on Instagram:
“I am glad she did not turn into a boy because the world does not need another a**h**e guy. It is not cool when Karens try to hide their homophobia or transphobia by saying they are trying to protect the children. Did not they post pictures of their kids wearing “Biden is a pedo” shirts on social media?”
Morris was talking about Brittany Aldean’s clothing line, which had anti-Biden t-shirts with phrases like “Hidin’ from Biden” and other images that supported Trump. In the comment, she added: “F*** Insurrection Barbie and the other IBs who are trolling this comment section with their hypocritical and hateful asses.”
Morris also tweeted about it. After telling Aldean to “insurrection Barbie,” he called her a “zip it.” as we already said.
Brittany Aldean answers criticism
The mother of two went on Instagram and told her 2.2 million followers that “genital mutilation of children under the guise of love” is “one of the worst evils.” The mother also said she would do her best to protect the “innocence” of her children.
Her Facebook post said: “One of the worst things is to say that genital mutilation of children is a form of love and to call it “gender-affirming care.” I will always be there for my kids and do everything I can to keep them from getting hurt.
Memphis wanted to be a dinosaur the other day, and the Navy will want to be a cat tomorrow because they are children. She then criticized parents who make “life-changing decisions” for their children so that society will accept them.
“Love is taking care of your child until they are old enough to make their own decisions on their own.”

Aldean posted a list of ages when people can do different things in another Instagram story. Among other things, this meant joining the military and buying alcohol and cigarettes. She ended the post by asking her followers, “Age to take hormone blockers that change your life and/or have surgery that you can not take back? A child can choose?”
