Season 2 of The Midnight Gospel should come out in the spring or summer of 2022, since season 1 came out in April 2020.

The Midnight Gospel season 2 plot: What will the second season be about?

The Midnight Gospel’s first season had various overarching themes that concluded in what could have been Clancy’s death, while the subject of each episode is mostly decided by the podcast talks it is based on.

Right after Clancy is shot by cops, he goes into another reality where he meets all of the past space cast guests who have perished.

In response to his question, they just advised him to “just be here now” when he questioned whether he, too, was dead.

A second season of The Midnight Gospel might still follow Clancy’s trip into the afterlife, where he would have new discussions about the meaning of existence.
