Canadian ice hockey player Milan Lucic has enjoyed great success in the National Hockey League (NHL). He started playing ice hockey at an early age and was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on June 7, 1988. The Boston Bruins selected Lucic in the second round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
He joined the Bruins for the first time in the 2007–2008 campaign, and his physical playmaking and offensive prowess won him recognition right away. He was a major factor in the Bruins’ 2011 Stanley Cup victory and their overall success.
After being traded to the Los Angeles Kings in 2015, Lucic spent one season there before being dealt to the Edmonton Oilers. Before being traded to the Calgary Flames in 2019, he played for the Oilers for three seasons.
Along with these achievements, Lucic has received praise for his non-hockey charitable work. He received the NHL Foundation Player Award in 2010 in recognition of his dedication to and support of local charities.
