Mother’s Day Tribute; Celine Dion Has Released A Rare Photo Of Herself With Her Three Sons
In honor of Mother’s Day, Céline Dion tweeted a cute picture of her three sons and spoke out about the families in Ukraine who are being torn apart by the ongoing conflict there.
The All By Myself singer praised all the “courageous” women involved in the conflict as she posed with her son Rene-Charles, 21, and twins Eddy and Nelson, aged 11 years old.
This Mother’s Day, I feel very fortunate to be with my children. I think of mothers in Ukraine and all over the world who have lost their children… and of those women who worry about their children’s safety all the time,” Celine composed.
“And for those women who use all of their energy just trying to give their kids the most basic essentials in life.” I dedicate this Mother’s Day to all of these mothers because they are unquestionably the most courageous. In the name of Celine xx, we pray that they will find solace and serenity for their family.
She married her longtime manager, René Angélil, who passed away in 2016, and together they had three boys.
Prior to Angélil’s passing at age 74 following a fight with throat cancer, the couple had been married for 22 years.
On the sixth anniversary of her late husband’s passing earlier this year, Celine paid tribute to him.
I would be lying if I claimed I was fine because I think about you at least 100 times a day and I can hear your voice in the echo of my voice as if you were there. She captioned a black and white picture of her late spouse, “I miss you—Céline xx.”
The famous person had to cancel the rest of her North American tour dates recently because of “recent health problems.”
She previously assured supporters that she was “hoping” to be okay by this point, but she is canceling the gigs as per the advice of her physicians.
Celine tweeted a screenshot of the press announcement that said: “Celine Dion today stated that as her recuperation from a recent health condition continues, she sadly must cancel the remaining dates of the North American leg of her Courage World Tour, previously rescheduled for March to April 2022.”
Additionally, the singer has delayed her European tour until 2023. In a video posted to Instagram, she apologized to her fans and said: “I’m so sorry we have to change our tour plans for Europe one more time; first we had to move the shows due to the pandemic, and now it’s my health issues causing us to postpone the shows.”
“I’m doing slightly better,”
However, I’m still having occasional spasms. When I’m on stage, I have to be in excellent shape. Although I really can’t wait, I’m simply not there yet.
I’m trying my hardest to get back to where I need to be so that I can give all that I have in my performances because that’s what you deserve, she continued.
