Zen S. Cannon, Nick Cannon’s seventh kid and the first he has with model Alyssa Scott, was born on June 23, 2021. On Father’s Day 2021, Cannon showed himself naked in an Instagram story posted on Scott’s page to prove that he was the father of the child.
She wrote to Cannon in an email that they were “celebrating you today.” On July 3, Scott posted a photo of herself holding her little baby and captioned it, “I will love you for eternity.”

Early in December 2021, Cannon’s 5-month-old son Zen died from brain cancer; he announced the tragedy on his talk show. Cannon reported that a malignant tumor had been discovered in Zen’s brain several months before his passing. Zen was doing OK, he claimed, until “the tumor started to grow a lot faster” around Thanksgiving 2021.
“I have never encountered a more muscular woman than Alyssa,” he said, praising Zen’s mother, Alyssa Scott. “I just want to say I’m so grateful to my entire family for coming together during this time and being so supportive and not judgmental of me,” She has been and continues to be the ideal mother a child could have.
