Raised by Wolves Season 3 Officially Cancelled by HBO Max: Why It Didn’t Happen!
Fans didn’t want to hear this, but Raised By Wolves has been canceled, and the worst part is that the characters won’t even get a proper ending.
The series seems to be over for good unless it follows its own lead with religious symbols and is brought back by the powers that be (fan demand and a new company willing to take it on).
But what happened and what was meant to happen?
Here is all the information you need about the cancellation.
Will Raised By Wolves return for season 3?
Born To Wolves On June 3, 2022, HBO pulled the plug on Season 3. A few weeks after the second season’s first episode, the last episode aired. So, the series has no chance of being renewed by the network, even if it could have built a fan base eager to see more seasons of these shows to see the characters grow and make the episodes better each week, which would have intrigued viewers to at least watch the episodes to see how the show creator will deal with these characters. It’s too bad that fans of the show who hoped it would get better won’t be able to see another episode.
Will Raised By Wolves return for a third season?
According to Variety, HBO Max said in a statement on Friday, “While we will not be making a third season of Raised by Wolves, we are beyond grateful to the stellar cast and crew, our creators Aaron Guzikowski, Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, and the entire team at Scott Free Productions for their beautiful art and unique ability to bring fans into the world of Kepler-22b.”
As the article points out, the cancellation of Raised by Wolves comes at a time when HBO Max’s parent company, WarnerMedia, is going through many changes. WarnerMedia was sold to AT&T and merged with Discovery to make Warner Bros. Discovery.
Abubakar Salim, who plays the Father, also hinted that Raised by Wolves was in danger in a series of tweets early on Friday. Check out the following tweets:
Call to action #RenewRaisedByWolves
It’s not surprising, especially after the news of the mergers and what is happening at Warner, that a lot of shows are not having their stories finished.

Call to action #RenewRaisedByWolves was started on Twitter. It’s not surprising, especially after hearing about the mergers and what’s going on at Warner, that many shows aren’t getting their stories finished. ” The new leadership, led by Discovery CEO David Zaslav, has broken many things in just over a month. For example, CNN+ has been canceled, and TNT and TBS have stopped making new scripted shows.
Season 3 of Raised By Wolves: What might have happened?
Raised By Wolves second season ended on a major cliffhanger, leaving a lot of things up in the air.
For Mother or any of her offspring, for that matter, things didn’t look good. By the end of the second season, Mother had become Grandmother’s captive, imprisoned in a simulation of prison, while plans to devolve the children into something subhuman put the majority of our core group in danger.
There is much to see. Season 2 is now available for streaming in its entirety. #RaisedByWolvesMax pic.twitter.com/Jk5OJyO8F9

Aaron Guzikowski, the show’s creator, was reluctant to reveal anything prior to the cancellation in order to keep things a surprise for fans, despite the fact that there were undoubtedly scripts produced and a plot planned.
However, there are now numerous plot arcs and unanswerable questions. Like, why are there so many tunnels under Kepler-22’s surface, and why are Earth and Kepler-22 so connected? Marcus, played by Travis Fimmel, would really come back as a Jesus-like character in the story. What in the world was happening to Sol?
Who would have appeared in Raised by Wolves season 3?
Everyone’s favourite serpent baby was no longer around after that shocking climax, and the same was true of Morgan Santo’s Ville.
However, there was a long list of cast members who all appeared eager and ready to come back.
• Amanda Collin as Mother/Lamia
• Abubakar Salim as Father
• Winta McGrath as Campion
• Jordan Loughran as Tempest
• Felix Jamieson as Paul
• Ethan Hazzard as Hunter
• Aasiya Shah as Holly
• Ivy Wong as Vita
• Matias Varela as Lucius
• Selina Jones as Grandmother
