Celebrating the arrival of the first child! Before her daughter Royce was born via surrogate, Rebel Wilson‘s partner Ramona Agruma offered the Pitch Perfect star a “beautiful baby shower.”
The 42-year-old Australian actress shared the birth of her first child, Royce Lillian Elizabeth Wilson, on Monday, November 7, through Instagram. In a later interview with People, she revealed that “people from around the world” attended her baby shower and commended Ramona for being “such amazing and such a great partner.”
Photos posted on Instagram Stories illustrate how lovingly the shower was attended. Rebel, on the other hand, posed with silver and white balloons while donning a pink dress. She gave Ramona a lovely embrace right away.
The significance of her daughter’s name, as she revealed to People, is that “I wanted an original name starting with the letter R and so eventually arrived on that one.” “I adore the women in my family who bear the names Lillian and Elizabeth. Elizabeth, like the late Queen, is also my middle name.
The actress described the early stages of parenting as “overwhelming and exhilarating.”
Rebel said, “My love for her is just pouring.” She is flawless and lovely. I thought, “Wow, what a priceless miracle.”
Rebel kept her intentions to become a mother a secret before making Royce’s birth public on Monday. In her initial Instagram post, she did call the baby girl “a lovely miracle.” She also thanked her “beautiful surrogate” who carried her and birthed her with “such grace and care,” according to the Senior Year star.
“Thank you for helping me create my own family; it’s a great gift,” Rebel continued. The BEST gift! I’m ready to lavish all of my affection on little Roycie. I’m picking things up quickly, so I salute all the mothers out there!
After Rebel and Ramona made their romance public in June last year, the baby news was announced months later.
