“I wanted to compose something that depicted a warm embrace from all the individuals that I’ve lost in my life after chatting with Ryan and hearing his vision for the song and the movie. In the press release, Tems stated, “I tried to envision how it would feel if I could sing to them now and explain how much I miss them. “To hear Rihanna perform this song is a huge pleasure because she has been an inspiration to me.”
