The season finale of She-Hulk ended the show in a completely different, over-the-top, meta way than any other Disney+ finale before it. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is the first Marvel Cinematic Universe show to be very aware of itself. She-Hulk Takes Control of Her Own Story

If Jen had joined the retreat war, it would have been a betrayal of her character, and this year, we’ve all come to love her for being so consistent. She is finally comfortable with who she is as She-Hulk and all that comes with it. Taking charge of your story and steering it in the direction you want it to take guts. She-Hulk goes to the God of the MCU in full superhero regalia to challenge her formulaic and predictable season finale. She finally gets to the man she needs to talk to after she storms into Marvel HQ and yells at the writers’ room for using old tropes.

She meets with K.E.V.I.N. (Knowledge Enhanced Visual Interconnectivity Nexus), and they talk about algorithms, content, and what the audience wants before she asks for her ending. This episode’s new formula will work better if it’s done Jen’s way and the familiar MCU action scenes are put in the background. He agrees, and they make the changes that need to be made. Also, she wants to see more Daredevil (Charlie Cox). So would we! The finale episode was as creative as something Charlie Kaufman might come up with if he liked superheroes, Marvel, and the rich history of each MCU spinoff.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is still young, so this news was exciting for both die-hard fans and people who are new to the MCU. Could it be a hint at a multiverse plot in the future, or was it just a funny thing that happened? Kevin Feige, who looked like Ultron, was scary and interestingly strange. Fingers crossed that we’ll see him again as a powerful force that rules the world… oh, wait! After a pretty rough few months, Jen gets the happy, realistic ending she needs. Todd is arrested, Emil is sent back to prison for breaking the rules of his parole, Daredevil comes back, Jen introduces Matt Murdock to her family, and Hulk shows off his surprise son, Skaar. On the other hand, She-Hulk will do both law and vigilante justice from now on. It is, after all, her story.
