Who is Tom Brady?
American football player Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. was born on August 3, 1977, and spent 23 seasons as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL).
He played for the New England Patriots for his first 20 seasons, and from 2001 to 2019, he was a crucial player in the team’s dynasty. He played with the Tampa Bay Bucs in his last three seasons. Most people agree that Brady is the best quarterback of all time.
Brady, who attended the University of Michigan to play college football, was chosen by the Patriots as the 199th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He went on to become known as the NFL’s most fantastic draft steal.
In his second season, he was named the starting quarterback, and the Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVI, their first Super Bowl victory. During his eighteen seasons as the team’s primary starter, Brady guided the Patriots to nine Super Bowl appearances, six Super Bowl titles, 13 AFC Championship Games (including eight straight from 2011 to 2018), and 17 division titles—all NFL records for a player and franchise.

Tom Brady Wife
In December 2006, Brady started dating Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen. On February 26, 2009, Brady and Bündchen tied the knot in a Catholic ceremony held in Santa Monica, California.
Their two children together are a daughter named Vivian Lake Brady, who was born in December 2012, and a son named Benjamin Rein Brady, who was born in December 2009.
The pair said their divorce was finalized on Instagram in October of 2022. Early this year, after Brady announced his retirement from football and Bündchen expressed her worries about the potentially harmful effects of the violent sport on Brady’s long-term health, Brady and Bündchen’s marriage became the focus of numerous tabloid speculations and conjectures.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s Relationship Timeline
After meeting on a blind date arranged by friends, Brady and Bündchen clicked right away. Brady talked about how drastically his life changed after that disastrous first meeting in an interview with WSJ Magazine.
“I think the one phone call that changed my life was my friend Ed, who called me one day, and he said, ‘I have this girl, and I think you should call her,'” Brady divulged. “I ended up calling her, and it ended up being the love of my life.”
After the New England Patriots’ victory over the San Diego Chargers on January 14, 2007, Bündchen was seen waiting for Brady outside the team’s locker room, sparking rumors that the two were romantically involved.
A Chargers representative declared that they were “100% sure” that Bündchen was in the stands when the game was happening. Sources told PEOPLE in late January of that year that the NFL quarterback and the Victoria’s Secret Angel had begun dating “just before Christmas.”
On February 26, 2009, Brady and Bündchen were married in a small ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church in California, one month after being engaged. The couple waited until their ninth anniversary in 2018 to share wedding pictures. The pair held a grand second ceremony at Bündchen’s Costa Rican residence in April 2009.
Brady and Bündchen never made it official that they were having a second child, but there was a lot of conjecture about the model being pregnant again. After being spotted multiple times with an expanding baby bulge, Bündchen finally flaunted her pregnancy in a leopard-print bikini when visiting Miami in November 2012.
The couple gave birth to their daughter, Vivian Lake Brady, at home on December 5, 2012. Taking to Facebook, the supermodel shared the news, writing, “We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel.”
Following allegations that Brady had tampered with game balls during the Patriots’ AFC Championship game victory over the Indianapolis Colts, there were whispers that Brady and Bündchen were divorcing due to the scandal.
In 2020, Brady shared some of the hardships he and Bündchen had endured in the past when they appeared on The Howard Stern Show. He revealed that Bündchen “wasn’t satisfied” with their marriage at one point in 2018.
He said, “A couple of years ago, she didn’t feel like I was doing my part for the family. She felt like I would play football all season, and she would take care of the house, and then all of a sudden, when the season ended, I’d be like, ‘Great, let me get into all of my other business activities. Let me get into my football training,’ and she’s sitting there going, ‘Well, when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?'”
Brady went on to say that it served as a wake-up call for him and that it signaled a “big transition” in his life, one in which he started to prioritize his family more.
