Top Boy Season 3 Official Renewed: Netflix Release Date Status, Cast, Recap & More Updates
Fans like Top Boy because it shows London’s underground crime culture in a way that is honest, real, and doesn’t try to hide it.
Since season one came out in 2019, it’s been a long and worth-it wait for season two, which came out on Netflix in March 2022. It’s the most explosive season yet, showing rivalry and revenge, domestic abuse, graphic violence, and trauma in a way that’s both familiar and shocking.
Street wars involved famous characters like Dushane (Ashley Walters), Sully (Kano, real name Kane Brett Robinson), Jaq (Jasmine Jobson), and Jamie (Michael Ward). Fans also saw Lauryn (Saffron Hocking) being hurt mentally, which was very scary. In this episode, fashion model Adwoa Aboah made her first appearance in the series.
The first season of Top Boy Summerhouse came out in 2011, and like this one, it was about gangs, alliances, and chaos.
Fans of the show have already watched the second season all at once, so Netflix just announced that the show will be back for a third season. But most people know that season three of Top Boy will be the last season of the Drake-made series.

A few weeks after the premiere of season 2, Netflix announced on March 31 that the show would be back for a third and final season.
The movie will most likely come out in 2023 since filming will start in the summer of 2022. The first and second seasons came out 18 months apart.

What happened (spoiler) in Top Boy season 2?
Top Boy 2’s greatest shock occurred at the conclusion when Sully shot Jamie after he opened his front door.
It wasn’t an apparent murder as Jamie helped Dushane and Sully with new distributors in Spain and Morocco. Dushane viewed Jamie as an opportunity to leave the drug business, but Sully didn’t trust him after assuming he was negotiating with Juan.
Dushane and Sully look to be on good terms at the end of season 2. Dushane got in trouble while helping his niece Pebbles, but Dushane rescued him. This is one to watch in season 3.
Jamie killed his best buddy Kit before being shot. In Top Boy 2, Ats is killed while dealing. All of this was Kit’s botched vengeance scheme. Dushane finds out and demands Jamie murder Kit to show his commitment.
Lauryn, Jaq’s sister, was the main character in season 2. After fleeing London to avoid vengeance for stitching up Sully in season 1, she’s pregnant and in a toxic relationship with Curtis. Along with his nasty sister Vee and right-hand guy Speaks, Curtis confines her to a Liverpool home, controlling who she speaks to and how she spends his money.

After Jaq attempts to help, Lauryn kills Curtis. While Jaq helps her sister during the season, she starts a connection with Becky.
Dushane’s girlfriend Shelly establishes a manicure business, but a prior guest demands money. Shelley covered up an old murder by her ex-boyfriend.
Now that Bev demands hush money, Shelly and Mandy, Dris’s girlfriend, revisit the gravesite. On top of that, Shelly is trying to defend Summerhouse, which Dushane is buying.
After his mother dies, Dushane reconsiders Summerhouse’s reconstruction. He tells Jeffery, Lizzie’s husband, to halt the redevelopment or he’ll kill Lizzie, who he cut out of a heroin transaction earlier in the season.

Who will be in the cast for Top Boy 3?
In the last season of Top Boy, most of the main characters will be back. Dushane Hill will be played by Ashley Walters, and Gerard “Sully” Sullivan will be played by Kane “Kano” Robinson.
Simbiatu Ajikawo, who goes by the stage name Little Simz and has won a BRIT Award, will return as Dushane’s love interest Shelley.
One of Dushane’s loyal lieutenants, Jaq, will be played by Jasmine Jobson again. But will we see her last season’s girlfriend Becky, who was played by Adwoa Aboah?
We think we’ll see more of Jaq’s sister Lauryn (Saffron Hocking), but will she really be free if the sister of her dead boyfriend, Vee (Ava Brennan), and her right-hand man, Speaks, are still on the run? Not to mention that she lied to Sully in the first season.
And Sully’s niece Pebbles (Erin Kellyman) and Dris’s girlfriend Mandy could come back (NoLay).
