Tyrus is a professional wrestler, actor, and political analyst from the United States. His most well-known character was that of WWE wrestler Brodus Clay. He signed a contract with Deep South Wrestling, a developmental division of the WWE, in 2006, and later became the representative of Florida Championship Wrestling.
Under the alias Funkasaurus, Tyrus made his WWE debut in 2011. From 2014 until 2017, Tyrus wrestled in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name Tyrus. He debuted on Fox News Channel’s The Greg Gutfeld Show in 2016. Tyrus hosted Nuff Said and Un-PC on Fox Nation TV.

Tyrus announced his long-term marriage to Ingrid Rinck on Instagram in 2020. He said over and over again that he had formalized things that same year in response to a peculiar proposal. Thanking his wife for all the years they had spent together, he referred to her as his universe.
But Tyrus and Ingrid Rinck had been dating for a minimum of six years before Tyrus made their relationship public.
