Upload Season 3 Release Date Status: Renewed Or Cancelled In 2022?
In season two of Upload, Nathan’s (Robbie Amell) afterlife turns out to be considerably more difficult and crammed with activities than most people’s actual lives, and it appears that things are just going to get trickier.
Will they or won’t they date? Check. A former girlfriend who won’t let go? Check. A target in a murder scheme planned by a political puppeteer seeking to rule the world? Definitely, check.
A premise that, although being really far in the future, irresistibly echoes the Black Mirror-style notion that this is actually only a matter of time, and is incredibly relatable even if the technology isn’t there yet? Now let’s stop saying “check.”
The dramatic conclusion to Upload season two undoubtedly left us with many unanswered questions and possibly some lives in danger. And even CTRL+ALT+DEL can’t undo this type of life-ending situation.
As a result, after tearing through the current seven-episode season, viewers will have high expectations for season three and what lies ahead.
Fortunately, think of us as your very own guardian angels, here to keep you informed. Here is all the information you want on a prospective third season of Upload.

Upload season 3 Release date
Fantastic! The third season of Upload has been confirmed as of May 2022.
Amazon’s Head of Global TV Vernon Sanders said, “Upload is a legitimate smash and one of Prime Video’s most-watched comedy originals.” The series explores the future of technology and humans.
“With Greg’s particular humorous style, the dynamic creative team, and great performers, they’ve developed an internationally relevant series we’re thrilled to bring back for our customers.”

Greg Daniels admitted he was writing season three before the second season aired.
He was also penning the now-canceled Netflix comedy Space Force.
Daniels told Collider before season 2’s release, “I’m scripting season 3 with the room.” Halfway! So I hope it keeps continuing.
“[Prime Video] are pleased about the second-season episodes, so we’re deep in writing… It’s a visual effects-heavy program, so even though we shot it before Space Force, it’s coming out a month after.
So they want to move swiftly so season three can air.
“I’m excited to continue the narrative of Nathan and Nora and the other people of Lakeview and near-future America,” he stated.
When filming will begin is unknown, as major cast members have other commitments. Robbie Amell, who portrays Nathan, is in The Witcher season 3.
Upload Season Storyline
By 2033, people will be able to “upload” themselves into any virtual afterlife they like. Computer programmer Nathan Brown is transferred to the opulent Lakeview after his untimely death, but there he comes under the control of his obsessive, still-living girlfriend, Ingrid.
Nathan develops a connection with Nora, his living customer service representative, as he learns the benefits and drawbacks of digital heaven. Nora battles the demands of her profession, the fact that her father is dying and does not want to be uploaded, as well as her increasing affections for Nathan, who she is slowly beginning to suspect of being killed.
Upload season 3 Cast
There are three important people in Upload, so you can expect all of them to return.
Robbie Amell plays Nathan, a tech genius who died and is now (kind of) back to life and living in the real, non-virtual world. Nathan is the main character of the show.
Then there’s his girlfriend. Nora, played by Andy Allo, works in virtual reality. Her father told her to join The Ludds, a group that is against technology. She has shown herself to be a good leader, though, and is now close to the top of the anarchist group.
Ingrid, Nathan’s ex-girlfriend (played by Allegra Edwards), is still trying to keep him around and will go to any lengths to do so. She spent most of season two in a tricked-out scuba suit in a bathtub, pretending to upload into the virtual Lakeview world so she could stay close to him. This makes it clear that she can live in Lakeview.
If we go back to Lakeview, we’ll probably see more of Kevin Bigley, who plays Nathan’s “best friend” Luke, and Owen Daniels, who plays the AI Guy who has been there for a long time and whose face is literally everywhere in the system.
Nora’s best friend Aleesha (Zainab Johnson) might also come back, depending on where she stands with Nora at work as an upload angel and in their friendship.
