What If…? Season 2 Release Date

The delayed news came after official Disney listings said the Multiversal sequel would come out on Disney+ in late 2022.
Total Film confirmed that Hela, Captain Carter, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, and more will be among the heroes who “save the multiverse, one universe at a time.” ComicBook also said that young Peter Parker, Yondu, Korg, Thanos, the Grandmaster, Red Guardian, Ego, Shang-Chi, Bucky, Captain America, and Gamora would be there.
Discussing Film said that in Season 2, there would be “a Hela story,” “Odin vs. The Mandarin,” “Captain Carter meeting the Winter Soldier,” and “Tony [Stark] on Sakaar with Valkyrie and Hulk.”
Murphy’s Multiverse showed that the confirmation came from the 1602 comic storyline, which took place in a world where Marvel’s heroes lived in the Elizabethan era.
What If…? Turns up the madness for Season 2
What If…? Already, Season 2 seems to be taking things a step further than the first batch of episodes. This time, Marvel Studios has taken ideas from both the Infinity Saga and Phase 4 to come up with some strange and crazy plots, though many of them make sense.
One of the most exciting things is that The Mandarian and Odin are going to fight, but it’s not clear if Tony Leung and Anthony Hopkins will be back. In either case, the two titans of war have been in charge of the Ten Rings and the Asgardians for thousands of years, which means that an epic battle is almost certain to happen.
Neil Gaiman’s 1602 is one of Marvel’s most popular limited series, so making it into a comic will be exciting for fans. Nick Fury, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four were among the heroes in the first series. Doctor Doom, Magneto, and the Scarlet Witch were the bad guys.
Congratulations to the team behind Marvel Studios’ What If…? on their three #Emmy nominations, including for Outstanding Animated Program, Character Voice-Over Performance – Chadwick Boseman, and Character Voice-Over Performance – Jeffrey Wright. pic.twitter.com/6hJjedq2b8

In the same way that Marvel Zombies is now a spin-off of Season 1’s episode about zombies, 1602 might have enough potential for an animated spin-off in the future. After all, the eight-issue limited series covered a huge amount of ground, much more than a single episode.
On a simpler note, many people will be happy to hear that Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter will be back in a Season 2 episode that continues on from her Season 1 episode. Captain Carter will have already joined the Avengers by the time the story starts, setting up an alternate version of The Winter Soldier in which Steve Rogers’ HYDRA Stomper will play Bucky’s role. This is hinted at in the scene after the credits.
Suppose… In 2023, Season 2 will debut on Disney+.
