Azpeitia, Gipuzkoa, Spain, is the birthplace of Nagore Aranburu. Approximately after Aranburu completed her high school education, she started looking for roles in the acting industry.

Xabi Alonso’s Club Career
After making swift progress through Real Sociedad’s youth divisions and reserve squad (winning the regionalized fourth tier in his only season there), Alonso impressed sufficiently to be called up to the first team at the age of 18.
He played in a Copa del Rey encounter against Logroñés in December 1999, his first outing as a senior. Although Alonso was unable to play again that season, he was given additional chances the following year.
Javier Clemente sent him to the Segunda División team Eibar at the start of the 2000–01 season in order to gain experience. Alonso’s father especially felt that his transfer to the more minor team enhanced his game.
But after a rapid change of managers, including two months under Periko Alonso’s leadership, Real Sociedad found itself in a precarious position. Real Sociedad was at the bottom of the league by January 2001.
Thus, John Toshack, the team’s new manager, looked to the legendary Alonso in an attempt to turn things around for the side. The Welsh boss unexpectedly appointed the 20-year-old as squad captain, a role usually reserved for more seasoned players.
Sociedad emerged from the relegation zone and secured the 14th position at the end of the season. Toshack praised Alonso, saying that for a player from the youth squad, his impact on the team was remarkable.
At Real Sociedad, Mikel Arteta, Alonso’s childhood friend, arrived during the summer transfer window. The idea of playing beside Alonso in midfield thrilled Arteta, but his joy was fleeting.
Real Sociedad’s preseason friendly did not include Alonso, indicating that Liverpool was considering a bid. On August 20, 2004, the Basque squad declared that they and Liverpool had reached an agreement worth £10.7 million and that Alonso had also agreed to terms with the Merseyside outfit.
Alonso did not lament the fact that his transfer to Real Madrid had fallen through. Instead, under the tutelage of former Valencia manager Rafael Benítez, he focused on assimilating with Liverpool’s new Spanish contingent.
