What Is Yellowjackets Season 2 About?
In an interview with Variety, Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson revealed that the upcoming season will be titled “The Winter of Their Discontent” (a nod to John Steinbeck’s 1961 novel The Winter of Our Discontent and a passage from William Shakespeare’s Richard III).
Although filming for the second season began in the summer, Lyle indicated that they intend to explore “the winter tale” the stranded Yellowjackets soccer team encountered in Canada at the end of the first season.
The official season 2 synopsis has not yet been released, but cast members have provided fans with hints about what to expect.
“I can’t get too much into detail, but I will say the first couple of scripts had the entire cast gasping,” Ricci told Entertainment Tonight. “So it’s even wilder: crazier, more shocking, compelling, and fun.”
Steven Krueger, who reprises his role as Coach Ben, told TV Insider that season 2 is a “whole new ballgame” and underlined the upcoming winter events. “It’s going to get dire out there with little food and the challenge of staying warm and alive,” Krueger stated.

Is There A Trailer For Season Two Of Yellowjackets?
Showtime has yet to publish an official trailer for Yellowjackets season 2, but it has debuted a short clip including sneak peeks of what’s to come.
The brief animation depicts a snowy scenario that prominently incorporates the inexplicable stick-figure symbol of a person with a line through their torso, discovered beneath the body in season 1’s cabin.
Unsurprisingly for a show about survival and possible cannibalism, there appears to be a substantial amount of violence on the horizon.
